melina flowers is a writer, maker, and mender exploring identity, placemaking, and personal ritual through the lens of heritage craft, folk magic, and a passion for textiles. Originally from Kentucky, melina lives in Portland, OR with their husband, cat, dog and too many houseplants. When they aren’t engaging with textiles for work or pleasure, melina can be found crafting, baking, communing with nature, or haunting the local library. Their work has been exhibited in group shows in the United States, France, and Egypt. Their lithographic print, Retro Modern, received an honorable mention in the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Alexander Ink, 2015.
